Ozzy Osbourne confirms ‘I’m NOT retiring’ despite second attempt at FINAL world tour

The 69-year-old closed 50 years of Black Sabbath last year back in his hometown of Birmingham.

Ozzy continues to perform as a solo artist, but is he going to pack it all when it comes to touring?

The rock legend has announced a US leg of his No More Tours 2 – a reference to his last attempt to end his world touring with No More Tours in the 1990s – but claims he’s not actually retiring from music.

Speaking with Rolling Stone, he said:  “I’m not retiring. It’s No More Tours, so I’m just not doing world tours anymore.”

Ozzy continued: “I’m still going to be doing gigs, but I’m not going on tour for six months at a time anymore. I’d like to spend some time at home.

“I’ve experienced fantastic things; it’s been an incredible journey. I just need to slow it down a little.”

The star is even considering a new album after this tour since he has “eight or nine good song ideas.”

The singer will perform on June 10 at Donington Park, Leicestershire.

Ozzy joins other headliners, Avenged Sevenfold and Guns N’ Roses, at this year’s Download Festival.
