Leeds parted company with Christiansen late on Sunday night, having been crushed 4-1 by Cardiff City earlier in the weekend.
The Whites are on a dismal seven-match winless run and are yet to secure a victory in 2018.
With the club currently 10th in the Championship, the board made the decision to axe Christiansen after just eight months in charge.
