Han Solo trailer and time CONFIRMED for Super Bowl and it is LONGER than a teaser!

Incredibly, after endless frenzied speculation, the details about the Star Wars Anthology trailer have been leaked online by a major Star Wars site.

It was almost certain that a teaser would air tonight after director Ron Howard blatantly hinted in a recent tweet, but there are up to 20 advertising breaks during the broadcast with up to 100 adverts.

A post and image have revealed the runnning order of the Super Bowl adverts and fans won’t have to wait long since the Solo trailer is one of the first up.

The information also lists the running time and fans will also be thrilled to know it is longer than the expected 30 second teaser.

The image above clearly shows that the teaser will run for 45 seconds.

Considering that every 30 seconds of airtime is reputed to cost $5million, this represents a serious commitment from Disney and Lucasfilm. It also signals that the clip will be more than just a teaser. Fans had feared it might just be a voiceover and tantalising holding image but the longer length means it will almost certainly show a significant amount of footage.

The information lists the trailer as “02A.”

Since the adverts listed are in numerical  and sequential order this gives a very clear idea about when the trailer will air.

Some fans have speculated the numbers refer to each quarter of the game but this woud mean that there are only two ads in the first quarter, which is impossible.

It is clear that the numbers refer to the advertising breaks themselves, which means the Solo trailer will be in the second break.

The letters must then indicate the order within each break, with Solo slot listed as ‘A’ meaning it will be the first.

The Super Bowl starst at 6.30pm tonight EST in the US which is 11.30pm in the UK.

This means British fans should see the Solo trailer sometime just before or around midnight tonight.

Although the BBC and Sky Sports are both screening the match live, they will not be showing the US ad breaks. However, Disney will certainly launch the trailer on the official Star Wars Facebook page and other social media as soon as it goes live on television.
