Stoke agree Ndiaye fee

08:40: Stoke City have agreed a fee of £15m with Galatasaray for midfielder Badou Ndiaye, according to Sky Sports.

Final details are still to be sorted over the structure of payments but Stoe bosses are confident they can wrap up a deal.

Ndiaye needs a visa to enter the UK before Stoke can apply for a work permit.

The Potters hope to fly the Senegal international over to the UK for a medical and to finalise personal terms.

Beckham backs Zlatan move

07:22: David Beckham admits he would love to see Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the MLS amid suggestions the Swede wants to leave Manchester United,

“It’s hard to talk about a player who is part of a club I love but all players get linked, at some point, with other teams and Zlatan is such a world-class player,” Beckham said.

“If talented players like him come into this league, it can only add to the strength and success of what this league can achieve.”

Aubameyang deal agreed

06.00: Arsenal have agreed a deal with Borussia Dortmund for Aubameyang after more than a fortnight’s negotiations and the Gabon international has agreed a three-year contract worth around £180,000 a week, which would make him the highest paid player at the Emirates, Express Sport understands.

But Dortmund will only sanction the 28-year-old’s sale once they have secured a replacement and, with Arsenal striker Giroud not interested in a move to Germany, they now want Chelsea striker Batshuayi.

The Belgian is keen, with talks ongoing between the clubs potentially over a loan deal with a permanent move in the summer.

But Chelsea will only let Batshuayi move if they can secure a replacement – and they want Arsenal striker Giroud, as revealed In Express Sport on Saturday.

Mauro Icardi drops transfer hint

05.30: Inter Milan forward Mauro Icardi has dropped a huge hint that he could be moving to Real Madrid before the deadline passes.

Real Madrid have been chasing the Argentina international for a number of months but their interest has peaked recently because of misfiring forward Karim Benzema.

Icardi made a post on his Instagram account late last night of a photo of a path with a slogan written in Italian over the top.

And when converted to English it read: “Being able to say goodbye is to grow.”

He captured it with “Bye bye” and an emoji of a waving hand, indicating that he could be leaving Inter.

Gerard Deulofeu Premier League return

05.00: Barcelona have confirmed that Gerard Deulofeu has joined Watford on a six-month loan spell.

The 23-year-old winger, who previously enjoyed a spell at Everton, will spend the rest of the campaign at Vicarage Road.

Watford will also cover the Spaniard’s salary and he is in line for a potential additional payment of around £1million.

Deulofeu’s game time has been limited this term, managing just five appearances.

Barca confirmed the news on their official club page.

A statement read: “FC Barcelona and Watford Football Club reach an agreement on the loan of Gerard Deulofeu until 30 June 2018.”

Alfredo Morelos to China

04.30: Rangers hitman Alfredo Morelos could be set for a £6million-plus move to China.

A verbal offer has been made for the club’s top scorer from a Chinese Super League club, believed to be Guangzhou.

The Light Blues are already looking at potential replacements should a deal be struck before the close of the transfer window tomorrow.

The 21-year-old Colombian has made a real impact since his summer move from HJK Helsinki.

Morelos has scored 13 goals and only last week spoke of his ambition to win a move to the English Premier League next season. HJK Helsinki would be due a sell-on fee if his transfer goes through, with Morelos having been signed by former Gers manager Pedro Caixinha for £1.5million.

Boss Graeme Murty said at the weekend that Morelos would only go if they were offered a barrowload of cash – that could now happen.
