WWE Royal Rumble 2018: Ronda Rousey makes sensational debut after Asuka’s triumph

Rousey, wearing classic Rowdy Roddy Piper gear, got a standing ovation when she appeared after the historic over-the-top-rope battle royale at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The UFC legend then confronted Asuka, RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss, Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and on-screen RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon.

The first ever female UFC Champion then pointed at the Wrestlemania 34 sign and put the entire WWE locker room on notice.

Rousey, who has been linked with a switch to WWE for months, seems to have finally signed with the wrestling giants and is now looking for a fight at the Showcase of the Immortals.

The former UFC women’s bantamweight champion made a huge impact in WWE after its inaugural Women’s Royal Rumble match.

Asuka, coming in at No.25 eliminated Nikki Bella to earn a spot at Wrestlemania in a match that will go down in history as one of the best ever.

It featured numerous Hall of Famers such as Lita, Trish Stratus and Beth Pheonix as well as promising young talents like Kairi Sane and Ember Moon.

Sasha Banks lasted the longest at almost an hour and Nia Jax was destructive throughout the bout.

The undefeated Asuka will now have to decide which champion she wants to face at Wrestlemania.
