Grammys 2018: US official BLASTS video of Hillary Clinton and artists MOCKING Donald Trump

The former First Lady embarrassingly lost to Trump in the 2016 Presidential race in a major political upset.

In a pre-recorded video, aired at the music awards ceremony, outspoken critics of Trump took turns to read extracts of Michael Wolff’s account of the US President’s first year in office.

Music stars Snoop Dogg, DJ Khaled and Cardi B all read parts of the book in the video as part of a pretend audition for who would win the evening’s “best spoken word” award before Mrs Clinton made her appearance.

The stunt has enraged supporters of the US leader on social media, including the US Ambassador to the United Nations.

Nikki Haley tweeted: “I have always loved the Grammys but to have artists read the Fire and Fury book killed it.

“Don’t ruin great music with trash.

“Some of us love music without the politics thrown in it.”

After Mrs Clinton finished reading an extract of the book that claims Trump has a fear of being poisoned, Grammy’s host James Corden declared that she had “nailed it”.

The star-studded crowd ferociously applauded the video when the former Secretary of State made her cameo.

Trump has previously fallen out with Hollywood for their attacks on his Presidency.

David Martosko said: “This is the most concise demonstration yet of how Trump won.”

Meanwhile, Collin Rugg said: “Trump is living rent free in all of these Hollywood celebrities’ minds.

“They literally can’t go 5 minutes without talking about him.

“Sad and pathetic people!”

Over one million copies of Fire and Fury have already sold across the world.

However, the accuracy of the book has been questioned with multiple members of Trump’s team mentioned in the book refuting Mr Wolff’s write up of events.

The President has previously called Fire and Fury “the fake book of a mentally deranged author”.
