Amazon reviews of items sold on the site are often helpful to decide on a purchase, but sometimes they are extremely funny.
A user posted a comical review on a portable pizza pouch being sold on the site for prices starting from $8.99.
The pizza pouch, intended as a “great gag gift, stocking stuffer, or for the pizza lover!” has received 50 customer reviews.
In a particularly entertaining one, a user shared how he had benefitted from the pizza pouch.
He said he has gained social media followers, friends and received invitations to book clubs thanks to the pouch.
The user, whose name is Silvr Craze on the site, wrote: “Every morning I get up and slip a pizza into the pouch and wrap it around my neck. “
“Life couldn’t be any easier. I finally have followers on all my social media accounts.
“I have been invited to join book clubs! I even have a BFF for the first time ever!”
He continued: “The dog even wants to be my friend!
“Also, the pizza aroma covers up my natural body odour.”
While it is likely some or all of this review may have been for comic effect, it certainly makes for an amusing read.
Another – perhaps more serious – review came from someone who truly appreciated the product.
“Purchased as a gift for my nephew who is OBSESSED with pizza,” wrote user Norma.
“Package arrived in record time and this will be the perfect Christmas gift as I know it’s not something that anyone else would think of purchasing!
“Wished the lanyard would have been a little longer but he can always get a longer one if he needs it!”
Out of the 50 users who reviewed this product on the site, 66 per cent gave it five stars in the rating.
