Xbox One Backwards Compatibility games REVEAL: Microsoft’s THREE new Xbox 360 titles

While things may have slowed down recently, more Xbox One Backwards Compatibility games have been confirmed this week by Microsoft.

In total, nine new titles from the Xbox 360 have been launched by the tech giant in January, with more likely on the way.

It’s unlikely that 2018 will be able to follow the titles released last year, with games like Red Dead Redemption, Call of Duty Black Ops 2, and Grand Theft Auto IV topping the list.

However, things have started strong, with Microsoft launching another two new games this week.

They include Split/Second and LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues, which are now both available to download on Xbox One.

Both games are The LEGO adventure has over 8,000 votes on the official Xbox voting website, with Split/Second earning over 5,000.

January also saw another six new games released earlier in the month, boosting the already-large list of available titles.

The new Backwards Compatible games launched in two waves, three on Tuesday and another three on Thursday.

This includes Sniper Elite V2, Far Cry 2 and Driver San Francisco, Magic 2013, Magic: The Gathering and Magic 2014 — Duels of the Planeswalkers.

It should be noted that while six games have been released, only five can be bought online.

A limitation has been put on the release of Driver San Francisco, which is only available on disc or digitally if previously purchased.

The Magic series doesn’t have quite so many votes as others games on the official Xbox site, however, this does bode quite well for the future.

And another game will be made available soon to those who have a hankering to play old Xbox 360 titles.

The Games with Gold February 2018 line-up is headlined by Shadow Warrior and Assassin’s Creed Chronicles India on the Xbox One.

The free games for Xbox 360 are Crazy Taxi and Split / Second, which will also be playable on Xbox One via Backwards Compatibility.

Games with Gold is available to all Xbox Live Gold members, which can be redeemed from the Gold widget on the Xbox One home screen.

Titles can also be found if you download the Xbox One SmartGlass app, and go to the Microsoft Store and then page right.

When you select a game, it’ll be stored in your account and ready for download when you sign in to your console.

It should also be noted that new Games with Gold titles become available on the first and the sixteenth day of every month.

The current Games with Gold January 2018 lineup includes:

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing III: Available January 1 to 31 on Xbox One

Zombi: Available January 16 to February 15 on Xbox One

Army of Two: Available January 16 to 31 on Xbox One and Xbox 360
