37: Rodney Parade erupts as League Two Newport take the lead, and it’s no less than they deserve.

There’s a beautiful cross sent in from Bennett on the right and Padraig Amond towers above Kieran Trippier at the back post to nod home.

We have a serious Cup tie on our hands folks.

35: Moussa Sissoko needlessly kills an attack by tripping a Newport defender. This is pretty dreadful stuff folks.

Anyway, Newport veteran Paul Hayes is gunning for FA Cup revenge against Tottenham.

Hayes scored twice at White Hart Lane last season as Wycombe threatened one of the biggest FA Cup shocks of recent times.

The League Two side led 3-2 until the final minute before Dele Alli equalised, and Wycombe were denied a money-spinning replay when Son Heung-min scrambled home the winner in the seventh minute of stoppage time.

“The ref played over time and we just had to get on with it. I very much doubt if the Spurs fans will remember my goals, but hopefully we’ll try and cause them as many problems as Wycombe did.”

Glad he’s over it…

Newport are set to welcome back skipper Joss Labadie and Matty Dolan after hamstring injuries. Ben White (hamstring) is also available abut Tom Owen-Evans (thigh), Sean Rigg (hip) and Marlon Jackson (hamstring) are all out.

Tottenham defender Toby Alderweireld could return after a lengthy absence with a hamstring injury. Christian Eriksen and Hugo Lloris will be assessed after suffering from illness while Serge Aurier (calf), Harry Winks (ankle) and Erik Lamela (gluteus) are all doubts.
