Where is Melania Trump today? First Lady spotted in Florida while Donald is in Davos

Melania Trump, 47, announced earlier this week she wouldn’t be joining husband Donald Trump, 71, during his visit to Davos in Switzerland.

So what is the First Lady doing instead? Yesterday, she made a visit to the Holocaust Museum in Washington.

And now it seems she has also made a trip away from The White House, but not to join Donald.

The mum-of-one was seen arriving in to Florida last night, according to CNN, who said a law enforcement source confirmed her arrival to them.

It is not clear why Melania is in Florida this weekend, but she often visits Mar-A-Lago, Trump’s Palm Beach property, which is situated in the state.

Releasing a statement on her decision not to attend Davos with her husband, Melania’s spokesperson said she had revised her plans due to “scheduling and logistical issues.”

The Trump’s wedding anniversary was this week, and it was thought they may celebrate together in Davos.

But the couple were on opposite sides of the globe, and neither of them acknowledged the day on social media.

Tweeting yesterday about her visit to the Holocaust Museum, Melania wrote: “Thank you @HolocaustMuseum for a powerful & moving tour that honors the millions of innocent lives lost, and educates us on the tragedies and effects of the holocaust. #WeRemember #AskWhy.”

Melania has active on social media this week, sharing a photo on Instagram gushing over her great first year in The White House without mentioning Donald.

In post which has so far received 121,000 likes, Melania wrote: “This has been a year filled with many wonderful moments.

“I’ve enjoyed the people I’ve been lucky enough to meet throughout our great country & the world!”

But it was not just in the caption the mum-of-one failed to mention her husband.

The picture she chose was not one of the many of herself and Donald on the day or throughout their first year together.

Instead, Melania chose a picture of herself smiling as she held on to the arm of a dashing army officer.

In a hint of things to come, Melania looked chic in a blue skirt suit and matching gloves.
