Man Utd set for transfer talks with Juventus to discuss Paulo Dybala and Matteo Darmian

Manchester United remain in the hunt for a new striker despite Alexis Sanchez, Romelu Lukaku and Zlatan Ibrahimovic all capable of leading the Old Trafford line.

Jose Mourinho has already insisted the Red Devils’ business for the month is done, with Sanchez likely to be their only recruit following his move from Arsenal.

However, TransfermarketWeb say Manchester United are set for transfer talks with Juventus about a deal that could see Dybala and Darmian change clubs.

Darmian has endured a nightmare campaign after seemingly earning Mourinho’s trust at the tail end of the last season.

The Italy international has made just 11 appearances across all competitions with his path to right-back blocked by Antonio Valencia.

Even on the left, Mourinho has preferred Ashley Young, Luke Shaw and, at times, Marcos Rojo.

With the World Cup in Russia looming large, Darmian could leave to boost his chances of making the Italy squad.

But TransfermarketWeb say a bigger deal could also be set to take place.

United are set to enter talks with Juventus about a potential deal for Dybala.

The Argentina international was reportedly subject of a failed bid last month, with United attempting to include Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Mkhitaryan has since joined Arsenal as part of the Sanchez transfer.

But even though the Armenia international has gone, United still want Dybala.

The 24-year-old has hit 17 goals from 28 games so far this season, and 59 in 122 since joining from Palermo in 2015.
