Can to Juventus

06.00: Emre Can will join Juventus at the end of the season because he has already reached a verbal agreement with the Serie A giants.

That’s according to Sky Italy reporter Ghilda Pensante, who claims Juventus are not worried about signing him this month.

Pensante insists Juventus remain confident the 24-year-old will join them in the summer.

“Juventus would like Emre Can signed on a pre-contract agreement but even without this agreement they trust this player,” Pensante told Sky Sports’ Transfer Talk podcast.

“He gave his word to Juventus, so Juventus are pretty calm about getting Can next summer and I’m pretty sure that he’s going to Turin.”

Aubameyang in doubt

05.30: Arsenal are refusing to budge in their approach for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and the move is now in serious doubt, according to Sky Sports journalist Guillem Balague.

According to Balague, the two clubs are tied in a dead-lock over €10m (£8.7m).

And unless Arsene Wenger’s side increase their bid it is unlikely a deal will be struck – but there is still plenty of time left in the window for that to happen.

“It seems like the differences between Aubameyang and Arsenal are very, very big,” Balague said in a video posted on Youtube.

“Things don’t seem to be moving on right now so no final decision has been made on either part.

“They are miles away and it seems like unless Arsenal put on the table more money, and I’ve heard it is around €10m difference, then things may not happen.”

PSG boss eases Neymar fears

05.00: Paris Saint-Germain boss Unai Emery has quickly moved to hush reports that Neymar is unhappy in the French capital.

Speculation has been ripe that Real Madrid are plotting a mega-move for the Brazilian in the summer, just 12 months following his world-record departure from Barcelona.

Neymar was booed for not giving Edinson Cavani a penalty kick during PSG’s 8-0 win over Dijon last week.

The Uruguayan needed the goal to become the club’s all-time leading goalscorer.

The boos added to the rumours that Neymar wanted to leave the Parc des Princes but Emery was quick to dismiss the claims and insisted that Neymar was happy where he is.

“PSG fans love all the players of PSG,” Emery said.

“They love them individually. They’re clever. I’m pretty sure that they are all happy to have Neymar here.”

Chelsea Dzeko update

04.30: Chelsea have suffered a set-back in their pursuit of Roma striker Edin Dzeko, according to reports.

Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has explained that the deal, which was rumoured to be close to completion, is now hinging on one condition.

And that appears to be the amount of bonuses which Chelsea will have to pay Roma throughout Dzeko’s time at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are hoping to do a £52m double deal which includes Roma team-mate Emerson Palmieri.
