Star Wars Han Solo movie TRAILER: Does this CONFIRM when teaser will be out?

Although the teaser’s release has not been officially announced by LucasFilm, website Star Wars Junk yesterday claimed to have heard that the glimpse of Solo: A Star Wars Story would drop on Wednesday (tomorrow), before playing with the new dystopian movie.

Now, it has been claimed that the teaser has been through “IMAX DMR” (digital media remastering), meaning it should be ready to fly.

Twitter user @ImaFilmEditor said: “Hey @StarWarsJunk! I reported on the #IMAX release for the #StarWarsTheLastJedi teaser trailer! #Solo’s trailer went through IMAX DMR today!”

Again, all of this remains unconfirmed by LucasFilm – but it’s safe to say that the evidence is stacking up in favour of the first look at Solo coming very soon.

Fans have been growing incredibly impatient waiting for the big reveal, with the movie’s release date stubbornly staying put at May 25 – despite a tumultuous production process.

Phil Lord and Chris Miller were axed as directors mid-way through filming, with Ron Howard stepping in to take over.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who has a currently undisclosed role in the film, recently told IGN: “The handover there was done with such warmth and generosity from everybody, and Ron’s just a master at his craft; he’s going to make a beautiful film out of it.

“You just really trust him and it was just really exciting to work with him.

“I mean, it would’ve been exciting to just pass him in a corridor, let alone for him to be parachuted in to the film you’re working on.”

Asked about reshoots after the director changeover, she added: “We’d done some really, really great stuff with Chris and Phil that everyone was really thrilled with, and I think a lot of that will still be in it.”

Last week the synopsis was revealed, teasing much of what was already known – that the movie will explore how Han Solo came to be one of the galaxy’s most unlikely heroes.

Solo: A Star Wars Story is out on May 25.
