FIFA 18 Ratings Refresh update: Fans decide who gets Winter Upgrade stats BOOST

FIFA 18 developer EA Sports is getting ready to give its players a ratings refresh.

The annual FIFA winter upgrade permanently alters the stats of in-form and out-of-form players.

Last year’s ratings refresh went live over a prolonged period towards the end of February.

There’s no word on when this year’s winter upgrade will go live, although EA Sports just got the ball rolling with a new questionnaire.

In a post on Twitter, the FIFA 18 developer asked fans for feedback on who deserves a ratings upgrade in FIFA 18.

“Who do you think deserves a Ratings, Weak Foot or Skill Moves upgrade in FIFA 18?” the tweet reads.

The tweet includes a link to a ratings refresh questionnaire. Fans can nominate a player and a new score.

The news comes just days after EA Sports revealed the FUT team of the year.

The TOTY kicked off last Monday, when EA Sports revealed which attacking players .

And it was good news for Tottenham Hotspur fans, as Harry Kane made the TOTY for the first time with a 96 rating.

The Spurs striker was joined by TOTY regulars Cristiano Ronaldo with 99 and Lionel Messi on 98.

The midfield lineup, meanwhile, featured Kevin De Bruyne, Luka Modric and N’Golo Kanté. Modric and De Bruyne were given a 96 rating, while Kante jumped up to 95.

EA Sports would then reveal the TOTY goalkeeper and defenders.

David De Gea got the nod in goal, but there were no Premier League players in defence.

Instead, the defender spots were given to Marcelo, Sergio Ramos, Bonucci and Dani Alves.

It’s been a busy few weeks for EA Sports, who recently announced plans to team with the MLS to launch a FIFA 18 eSports league in the US.
