The EVE Online Reddit has been busy covering what could be one of the game’s most costly wars since its launch.
The EVE Online million dollar battle has a launch time of around 9:50pm GMT, meaning that it could go down very soon.
Here’s a summary from the official Reddit thread on the subject, covering some of the background on what’s going on: “The Imperium is shooting at a Pandemic Horde Keepstar in Cloud Ring,” the Reddit post explains.
“The Imperium has deployed its Supercap fleet to the area. Defenders are Pandemic Horde backed up by Northern Coalition, Pandemic Legion, G.O.T.G. and potentially more.
“The two super-capital fleets have a chance of engaging each other during this timer. The sides possess the largest 2 super-capital fleets in the game.
“The two sides have been poking (to say the least) at each other for a very, very long time.”
It should be noted that while it looks good that something will go down tonight, there’s still a chance that key ships won’t be in place when the key space station is vunerable.
