Australian Open 2018: Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal final wish revealed by Ivanisevic

Federer and Nadal have faced each other in many Grand Slam finals in the past.

They even contested the Australian Open final last year in which Federer came out on top against his old foe in a five-set thriller.

The pair can’t meet each other until the final and both are still on track to make that happen.

And 2001 Wimbledon champion Ivanisevic thinks a Federer vs Nadal final never ceases to amaze.

“You always want to watch a match between Federer and Nadal,” Ivanisevic told Spanish paper Marca.

“It’s like watching a good movie 27 times.

“There is no bad match between them for emotions, for tennis, for everything.”

Ivanisevic, however, still fancies Federer to go on to claim a 20th Grand Slam title in Melbourne.

He added: “For me the favoUrite in the tournament is Roger (Federer) but sometimes when you are the main candidate you do not win.

“Last year he was not the favorite and he won.

“There are still many games and many rounds. We will see on Sunday who gets the title.”
