Spice Girls REUNION: Geri Horner SPEAKS OUT on those rumours

It’s something their fans have been wanting for the last five years, but are the Spice Girls really ever going to get back together?

Ginger Spice herself has given an update to Daily Mail’s Event magazine, but it’s not sounding too hopeful.

Geri said: “As far as another tour happening, there are no plans.

“Funnily enough, even though I’m the one who left the Spice Girls, I’m always the one talking to everyone. I’m like Woody from Toy Story, keeping everyone together.”

The 45-year-old continued: “They are still my family…I care about all of them. I’m there for whatever anyone is going through, and I’m always open to doing something with the girls, but there are no plans at the moment.”

But back in 2016, it looked like something was cooking – so what happened?

She added: “At the time we wanted to do something to mark Wannabe. I was totally up for the idea of getting together because I thought it would be amazing for the fans and just a lot of fun.

“We all talked about it, but Victoria didn’t want to do it because she has a whole different life now, and Mel C didn’t feel it was right.”

She said: “It is not happening. At some point you’ve gotta know when it’s time say, ‘that was great’.

“Girl power will always be out there and is something that we all still believe.

“What I do now is still all about girl power, but it’s empowering women through power.”
