James Bond: ‘Harry Styles could replace Daniel Craig if Christopher Nolan directs 007’

He may only be 23-years-old, but could young be the next reboot for the 007 franchise?

The idea has been backed by Lee Smith, who has edited the latest Bond outing, Spectre, and all of Christopher Nolan’s movies.

Speaking with Daily Star, he said: “Harry could do it. If they wanted a younger Bond then why not? He has got it.”

Styles starred in Dunkirk last year, which Smith reckons gives Styles a good chance of taking the lead in a Nolan Bond movie.

Smith continued: “Harry is really good and he can go all the way. He is an exceptional talent and a complete natural on camera.

“You would have thought you were dealing with a guy with many years of experience. You would never know that [Dunkirk] was his first film. I didn’t know who Harry was.

“Of course my daughter explained to me that you don’t get any more famous than Harry Styles. But he was really good and a genuinely charismatic fellow. If he wants to act, I cannot imagine he would not have a great future.

“And Chris [Nolan] would bring the most amazing detail that any director could bring to any project, be it Bond or anything else.”

While Styles has worked with Nolan, it’s – who

Earlier this week Hardy overtook James Norton at the bookmakers, with odds shortened to 2-1 to be the next Bond.

Meanwhile Craig will return for his fifth and final Bond movie in November 2019.
