Sanchez has been ready and waiting in the north west since the early hours of Saturday morning after pulling out of Arsenal’s squad to face Crystal Palace.
And he’s set to undergo a range of routine tests today to ensure he’s fit and healthy to join United.
Sanchez might have been expecting to meet his new team-mates at the club’s Carrington training ground tomorrow.
However, it seems yesterday’s 1-0 win over Burnley has earned Jose Mourinho’s men an extra day off.
Taking to Twitter, Luckhurst revealed Sanchez will be put through his paces with Paul Pogba and co. from Tuesday.
“Alexis Sanchez due at Carrington for his United medical today,” he wrote on Twitter.
“Set to train with new teammates on Tuesday.”
Swapping places with Sanchez is United misfit Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
The Armenia international was spotted in London last night and will have a medical at Arsenal today.
