Nintendo has revealed a surprising new Switch sales stat.
After revealing the most played games and biggest sellers, Nintendo has now announced the most downloaded Nintendo Switch releases.
And it’s good news for indie sensation Stardew Valley, which tops the list over heavyweights such as Minecraft, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey.
The new report from Nintendo Japan (via GamesIndustry.biz) shows that Stardew Valley was the most downloaded game across the world.
It was followed by Minecraft in second, Sonic Mania in third, Rocket League at four and Snipperclips at five.
Minecraft topped the list in Japan, followed by Snipperclips, Senran Kagura: Sinobirifure, Kamiko and Metal Slug 3.
While Stardew Valley was the most downloaded Switch game of 2017, Zelda: Breath of the Wild was the most played.
