Photos show the huge vehicle engulfed in flames at the moment of the explosion – smoke could be seen by nearby travellers as the bright furnace left its mark on the Interstate 15 highway.
Interstate 15 has seen closures north and southbound – it is currently unknown if there are any injured by the devastating flames.
