Pokemon Go news: Loudred REVEALED with latest Niantic APK update

just received a big new update, as Niantic teases the next batch of Gen 3 Pokemon.

Pokemon Go has been updated to version 0.89.1 on Android and 1.59.1 for iOS.

This includes various quality of life improvements and bug fixes, including the ability to sort Pokemon by region, scaling tweaks in AR mode, better incubator sorting and more.

The new update also comes with a brand new loading screen that may have revealed the next new Gen 3 Pokemon.

The new loading screen features a selection of Pokemon celebrating the start of 2018.

This includes previously unreleased Pokemon Loudred, which can be seen above.

Pokemon Go dataminers have also delved into the APK files to see what Niantic hasn’t revealed in the patch notes.

The Silph Road has uncovered new renders for roads, water, buildings and parks.

The company has also tackled swiping between screens, and added shiny icons to stop you accidentally transferring Pokemon.

Another nice touch is the way the game will now remember your last selected Pokeball from encounter to encounter.

The news comes as Kyogre Raids go live in Pokemon Go.

The new Legendary is a tier 5 boss encounter, meaning it’s one of the toughest in the game.

And some Trainers have found it harder than usual to triumph in the timed-Raid battles.

This is because Kyogre was positioned too far back when trying to capture the Legendary.

Fortunately, this is another problem that appears to have been fixed as part of the new update.
