Destiny 2 Faction Rally: Season 2 Tokens, weapons and armour news

The Season Two Destiny 2 Faction Rally was severely delayed by Bungie, following the decision to make it open to everyone, regardless of who owned Curse of Osiris.

And today has finally seen the big event return on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

As usual, Arach Jalaal from Dead Orbit, Lakshmi-2 from Future War Cult, and Executor Hideo of New Monarchy have returned to the Tower to ask Guardians to pledge their loyalty.

Season Two Faction Rally is available to play now and will be running until January 23.

During a Faction Rally, players may pledge to one of these Factions to gather supplies and destroy enemy resources.

Tokens are the name of the game, with the side with the most getting a big reward following the end of the Rally.

During a Faction Rally, players will only be able to pledge to one faction per character.

Each faction offers a powerful weapon, but only the winning faction’s weapon will be made available to players.

The winning faction will offer the weapon to everyone, but all who pledged loyalty will receive it with a huge discount as repayment for their contributions to their faction’s cause.

Those on the winning side can buy for 1,000 Glimmer, while everyone else has to cough-up 50,000.

Other unlocks will also be available from the Faction you join, including armour rewards and base gear.

It should also be noted that in order to participate, players must achieve Level 20 and complete the Destiny 2 campaign.

FACTION RALLY WEAPONS:

  • Dead Orbit is offering the Hollow Earth Legendary Auto Rifle
  • Future War Cult has The Doubt Legendary Auto Rifle available
  • New Monarchy have the Logquitor IV up for grabs.

Unlike in the past, each Faction will offer the same type of weapon, rather than differing loadouts.

  • Daily Faction Rally Milestone
