BREAKING: Horror as teenager stabbed in tram stop attack – suspect on run

The incident happened in Cottbus, which is in the east of the country and close to the border with Poland.

According to the German news website LR Online, the teenager was stabbed by a Syrian teenager. 

The stabbing happened at the tram stop Blechen-Carre at around 3pm this afternoon. 

The media website is reporting that the attack came following a fight between the two teenagers. 

They said: “The Syrian and German teenagers between the ages of 16 and 18 know each other from school.

“A 16-year-old was attacked by a Syrian teenager against a stationary tram.”

A police spokesman Torsten Wendt said: “The injured person was first treated by rescuers there and then taken for further treatment”. 

 

Cottbus is a university city and the second-largest city in Brandenburg, Germany.

It is located around 80 miles southeast of Berlin. 

This attack comes after a Teenage migrant was ordered to leave the town after he was involved in an assault at  shopping centre.

The 14-year-old migrant attacked a 51-year-old man with a knife. 

A city official said: “It is the first time that we have made use of the negative residency permit.

“The integration of the youth has failed”.
