Aubameyang to Arsenal: Arsene Wenger warned to be wary of one glaring issue

The Gabon international has reportedly handed in a transfer request at Borussia Dortmund and is said to have agreed personal terms with Arsenal.

He is one of Europe’s leading forwards this season, having scored 21 goals in just 23 games.

But he was left out of Dortmund’s match against Wolfsburg at the weekend due to disciplinary problems.

And it is not the first time the 28-year-old has been in trouble with the Bundesliga giants.

Aubameyang was suspended by the club back in November for a similar issue, and Behrenbeck has suggested his attitude problem could be a major issue for a club like Arsenal.

“Dortmund knows that there won’t be a future for Aubameyang at Dortmund,” Behrenbeck told Sky Sports’ Transfer Talk podcast.

“He was unpunctual again. Afterwards he said he didn’t know about the team meeting but everybody knows about it.

“It is a problem that he has been unpunctual since day one. He had three coaches since the last few years, Peter Stoger, Peter Bosz and Thomas Tuchel and every coach had to suspend him.

“It says a lot about his philosophy and character.”

Arsenal are said to be willing to pay £53million to take Aubameyang to the Emirates while Dortmund want closer to £60m.
