North Korea’s state-run media today mocked Donald Trump after he said he had a bigger “nuclear button” than despot Kim Jong-un.
On January 3 Mr Trump tweeted: “I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!”
Today a Pyongyang-based news source said Mr Trump’s warning was the “spasm of a lunatic”.
Rodong Sinmun, the party for Kim’s ruling party, hit out at Mr Trump in an opinion piece published today.
It comes after they condemned the president as a “dotard” in a previous fiery statement.
