Star Wars: Qui-Gon Jinn FORCE GHOST return but in WHICH movie? Liam Neeson speaks

Now that Yoda has been back on screen in all his glowing glory, fans are dying to know who will be next.

Speaking of dying, death is no impediment to as Star Wars cameo as Jedi can continue to interact with the living world.

While many fans are hoping Luke will be able to return this way in Episode 9, another Jedi could also make a come-back, but in on eof teh Anthology films.

In fact, thi is the Jedi who first  (chronologivally speaking) introduced the entire concept of Force Ghosts to the franchise.

Qui-Gon was shocking dispatched by Darth Maul and his pesky double-ended lightsaber in Star Wars 1: Attack of the Clones.

Later on in the prequel trilogy, Yoda actually explains to Obi-Wan how his former master has discoeverd the secret to continuing beyond death.

Although fans had seen the ghostly figures of Obi-Wan, Anakin and Yoda at the end of The Return of the Jedi and had heard Obi-wan prophecy that he woudl become stronger in death if Darth vaer struck him down, the revealtion about Qui-Gon is teh first major acknowledgement of what it emans to be a Force Ghost.

Fitting then, if he should return.

Yoda and Anakin both already spoke to Qui-Gon’s Force Ghost in the animated Star Wars Clone Wars series.

Could Liam Neeson return in the flesh in teh hugely anticipated Obi-Wan spin-off Anthology movie.

The star was interviewed recently and has this to say.

Neeson told Yahoo Movies UK: “In the first one, The Phantom Menace, I died but we know, you know, Jedis come back and stuff but no one’s been in touch. We’ll see.

“This is the first time I’m hearing of this. No one’s been in touch with me. I know in the Star Wars world anything is possible.”

It’s far from a confirmation, but in the wonderful world of Star Wars speculation, it’s a very good start to a tantalising prospect.
