Mercedes G-Class 2018 LAUNCH live stream – How to watch new car unveiling NOW

Mercedes will launch the all-new G-Class 2018 at the Detroit Auto Show tomorrow morning.

The unveiling event will be live streamed from 01.00am GMT on January 15th.

At the event, the wraps will be pulled off the updated 4X4, ahead of it going on sale later on this year.

It is a stalwart in the company’s line-up which was first launched in 1979 and the new generation will finally be uncovered at the North American show.

According to Mercedes, the off-roader will undergo its biggest makeover in its history for the 2018 model.

Despite this the car will still remain true to its iconic boxy, rugged design.

The all-terrain vehicle will be equipped with state-of-the-art assistance systems for safety and comfort and will have updated handling, new design and power options.

It will feature the new MBUX interior design which was revealed at CES 2018 last week.

This new interior features the dual landscape screen which stretches from where the traditional instrument cluster is to the centre of the dashboard.

A multi-functional steering wheel, with touch-sensitive controls for the infotainment system has also been added alongside a new electric handbrake and gear selector stalk.

Rear interior space has also grown by 150mm and the rear seats can be tilted to nine different angles to improve comfort.

It is expected to go on sale in the summertime in Britain with prices of around £92,000.

The live stream will begin at 1.00 a.m. GMT  January 15th(January 14. 2018 – 8:00 p.m. ET) and you can watch the action unfold here.
