Mourinho’s Kluivert talks

08:30: Jose Mourinho has reportedly told Justin Kluivert not to leave Ajax in January and to wait for a summer move to Manchester United.

The 18-year-old has admitted he has ambitions of one day playing for Barcelona and has been linked with a move to the Nou Camp in January.

However, Spanish newspaper Sport claim Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has been in contact with the teenager this month in a bid to hijack any potential move Barca make.

And he has reportedly told him to shelve plans to leave Ajax in January and wait for United to come calling in the summer.

Griezmann not welcome

07:40: Barcelona stars Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Andres Iniesta are reportedly against the idea of the La Liga giants snapping up Antoine Griezmann from Atletico Madrid.

Spanish publication Don Balon say Messi, Suarez and Iniesta feel Barca do not need to spend another £89m-plus (€100m) on another attacker.

And they would prefer to see Ernesto Valverde handed the funds to strengthen other areas of his squad.

Messi, Suarez and Iniesta’s stance has apparently been communicated to high level officials at the Nou Camp.

Mina signs

06:30: Barcelona have signed Yerry Mina from Palmeiras in a five-year deal.

Barcelona have paid Brazilian side Palmeiras £10.5million for the centre-back.

And the club have revealed their new Colombian defender has an enormous release clause in his contract.

The Nou Camp club have slapped an £88m (€100m) clause in the player’s terms.
