Prince Harry and Meghan Markle news: William might not be Harry’s best man

Prince Harry has not asked Prince William to be his best man, it has been revealed.

The news was revealed by 35-year-old Wills himself as he met staff at a mental health charity.

The royal faced the best man question during a discussion and men’s mental health with Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), a charity aimed at preventing male suicide.

When asked about his relationship with his brother and his potential role as best man William said: “He hasn’t asked me yet. It could be a sensitive issue.”

However, Prince William seemed jocular about the event, prompting suspicion he may well be asked soon.

The father of Prince George, four, and Princess Charlotte, two, spoke about the relationship he has with his brother.

He said: “Our relationship is closer than it’s been because of the situation we’ve been through.

“Losing our mother at a young age it’s helped us travel through that difficult patch together.

“You’re like-minded. You go through similar things, it’s a bond and it’s something you know you’ve tackled together and come out better for it.

“That’s the thing about being a best mate, inevitable one of you is sometimes on an up while the other is on a down.

“You’re always there for each other and repaying that favour.”

What school will Prince George attend? Will he be educated like his grandfather Prince Charles at a traditional Scottish school, or follow his father into Eton?

One royal expert believes Kate Middleton will lead the way when it comes to which school George will attend.
