All The Money In The World reshoots: ‘Mark Wahlberg paid 1500 times MORE than co-star’

Following Kevin Spacey’s sexual misconduct allegations, J Paul Getty was recast in Ridley Scott’s All The Money In The World with Christopher Plummer.

Incredibly in just nine days of reshoots, the entire part was reshot with only a month before the movie was released – all to qualify for awards season.

While director Scott claimed the stars and himself, apart from Plummer, did the reshoots for nothing, it’s now alleged a large fee was negotiated for Wahlberg.

According to USA Today, the 46-year-old actor was paid $1.5 million, while co-star Williams – who has as substantial role in the movie – wasn’t told.

Meanwhile sources say Williams was paid an $80 per diem, which comes to less than $1000 – 1500 times less than or 1 per cent of what Wahlberg made.

Interestingly both actors are represented by William Morris Endeavour agency (WME) and Wahlberg will presumably have had a team make the deal on his behalf, being paid 10 per cent of his salary.

Williams previously said that when the call for reshoots came following the Spacey scandal, she said: “I said I’d be wherever they needed me, whenever they needed me.

“And they could have my salary, they could have my holiday, whatever they wanted. Because I appreciated so much that they were making this massive effort.”

The movie has so far been nominated for three Golden Globes and one BAFTA, with two nods for Plummer’s nine day turnaround.

All The Money In The World is out now.
