Xbox One vs PS4 games: Bad news for Microsoft, as fans fear for MAJOR exclusive

could be short of one major exclusive in 2018.

Halo developer 343 Industries has suggested that Halo 6 might not be released this year.

“2018 has arrived and with it, the promise of new fun times to be had and adventures to be embarked upon,” reads a 343 blog post.

“No, not those adventures, but plenty of exciting ones regardless – some which might surprise you more than other.”

With Halo 5 launching back in 2015, fans were expecting a new entry to launch in 2018.

At the very least, 343 Industries is expected to reveal a new game at E3.

And speaking of new Xbox One games, fans will be pleased to hear that a major franchise is tipped to return.

Former Lionhead developer Don Williamson recently suggested that Fable 4 is in development.

“Mmm ok, having no inside information, I totally know who’s building Fable 4 now. Interesting choice…”

Asked by WCCFTech if the studio is based in Brighton, he added: “There’s nobody here in Brighton that could take on a task of that magnitude.”

Williamson has since played down the tweets, telling followers that he is currently only speculating.

“Deleted previous tweet because people seem to think I have some knowledge of something that may or may not be happening whereas all I have is speculation.”

It’s been speculated that Playground Studios is working on the game, especially given a recent job advert that referenced a triple-A action-RPG.
