Liverpool confirmed line-up: Jurgen Klopp names team for Burnley clash, Coutinho out

The headline news for the Reds is that star duo Mohamed Salah and Philippe Coutinho are not even in the matchday 18.

Salah misses out having suffered a knock against Leicester, with Barcelona target Coutinho’s omitted due to a thigh injury.

Jurgen Klopp goes with Simon Mignolet, who captains the side, in goal for the Premier League clash, with Loris Karius available to deputise from the bench.

Trent Alexander-Arnold starts on the right hand side of the Liverpool defence, with providing Joe Gomez somewhat surprisingly on the opposite flank.

Ragnar Klavan and Dejan Lovren are the centre-back pairing, with Virgil van Dijk set to make his debut against Everton at the weekend.

Emre Can, Georginio Wijnaldum and Adam Lallana make up the midfield three, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Sadio Mane on the flanks.

Dominic Solanke comes in for Roberto Firmino through the middle, with the Brazilian among the substitutes.

Joining Karius and Firmino on Klopp‘s bench is James Milner, Andrew Robertson, Danny Ings, Joel Matip and Ben Woodburn.
