Rockstar news: Red Dead Redemption 2 release date, new GTA 5 Online money quest

A new leak has provided more potential information on how long fans will be waiting for the Red Dead Redemption 2 release date.

The game is one of the most anticipated PS4 and Xbox One launch of 2018, with still plenty of information still not confirmed about single-player and multiplayer.

Fans are certainly eager to learn more, although they might be a big disappointment by the latest release date leak.

According to one recent retail listing, fans could be waiting until early June to play RDR2 on PS4 and Xbox One.

While there have already been a few retail placeholders posted for it, the latest could indicate the Red Dead Redemption 2 release date for PS4 and Xbox One.

A number of media outlets have reported on a Danish retailer called Coolshop listing a launch for RDR2, before it was taken down.

The significance of this is that something very similar happened with the GTA 5 release date, which was later confirmed to be very close to the official announcement.

And it has now been reported that the Red Dead Redemption 2 release date was briefly listed for June 8, 2018.

That would just about place it in the “Spring 2018” launch window confirmed by Rockstar earlier this year.

It should be noted that while this could be the date we actually see RDR2 arrive, this isn’t an official announcement and should therefore be taken with a pinch of salt.

Fans will be hoping for some kind of big reveal from Rockstar in the new year, perhaps covering how the new online mode will work.

A new GTA 5 Online update has been released, adding an additional vehicle and Adversary Mode.

The Overflod Autrarch was launched alongside a range of new content for PS4, Xbox One and PC and is available to buy right now in-game.

And as you might imagine, this latest ride is going to cost quite a lot of GTA 5 Online money.

The Overflod is going to set you back $1,955,000, making it a very pricy purchase for those who have been stocking up on the new Doomsday Heist content.

The Slasher Adversary Mode, meanwhile, has been given a new twist in its latest iteration.

In Slashers, two teams will duke it out to the death in total darkness – the Slashers, armed with Machetes and Shotguns, against the Hunted, equipped with Thermal Vision and Flashlights.

As each minute passes, the team roles are reversed until one group has been wiped out completely.

From now until January 8th, Slashers will also be doling out Double GTA$ & RP.

It appears that a range of new content will be arriving as part of GTA Online for the coming weeks, with a range of new vehicles prepped for launch.

More could be launched after that, although Rockstar have not confirmed what their plans are for the game in 2018.
