Manchester United are on red-alert after claims that Cristiano Ronaldo wants to quit Real Madrid, according to the Sunday Mirror.
The Portuguese superstar has reportedly had a bust-up with club president Florentino Perez and also scouted out a top English private school for his son in preparation for a return to England.
Manchester United are thought to be at the head of the queue if Ronaldo quits the Bernabeu, with Perez believed to have asked for the 32-year-old’s release clause to be slashed from £900million to £90m.
Elsewhere, the Daily Star suggest Madrid could offer Gareth Bale to Tottenham in an attempt to lure Harry Kane in the opposite direction.
The Spanish giants would also stump up a significant cash fee to complete a package worth around £150m for Kane.
Meanwhile, Express Sport reveal Barcelona will try to finally seal a £125m deal for Liverpool ace Philippe Coutinho this week.
The Catalan club are said to have agreed personal terms with the player last summer but were knocked back three times by the Reds owners.
The same publication also reveal Manchester City will hold out until the end of the season to sign Alexis Sanchez, with the Chilean refusing to leave the Emirates during the upcoming transfer window.
Finally, The Sun claim Pep Guardiola is also targeting £50m Samuel Umtiti, although the Barcelona defender is also attracting attention from United.
