Avengers Infinity War directors SPEAK OUT on Bucky’s future in Black Panther’s Wakanda

Following the events of ‘s Captain America: Civil War, Bucky has lost his cyborg arm to Iron Man.

In the post-credits sequence of the movie, Bucky was shown being cryogenically frozen once again, but this time by Black Panther and Captain America in Wakanda – just until they can work out how to stop his implanted assassin tendencies.

Then came the trailer for Avengers Infinity War and Bucky was shown charging into battle, in Wakanda, alongside Cap, Black Panther and others.

But what really stood out from this scene was the fact that Bucky has a new arm. Now Avengers Infinity War directors, the Russo brothers, have teased how this came about.

According to Screen Rant, they were answering a fan question at Sina Weibo.

Anthony said: “For everyone who’s seen Captain America: Civil War, they know Bucky was taken in by T’Challa [Black Panther] in Wakanda.

“I think that, you know, we catch back up with him after he’s been there for a while.

“And if there’s an influence on his arm, it may perhaps have to do with that country that he’s been spending time in.”

It seems that Anthony was teasing that Bucky’s new arm is made from Wakanda’s advanced technology, so presumably he’ll have some exciting new powers.

Avengers Infinity War will be released in UK cinemas on April 27, 2018.
