Xbox One X news: True power of Microsoft’s new console REVEALED

The true power of the  X has been revealed.

While it’s clear the Xbox One X is a true powerhouse, fans were unsure exactly how it compares to a high-end PC.

Fortunately, Sean Walsh from VooFoo Studios has revealed how powerful the Xbox One X actually is.

“An AMD RX580 is probably the closest GPU in terms of real world performance to compare to the Xbox One X,” he told Gamingbolt.

“It is hard to find a fair competitor, as the Xbox One X’s CPU does bottleneck its GPU somewhat so it could maybe perform better in a different use case.

“Also hardware pricing in the PC space does fluctuate a lot. But in terms of real world performance the RX580 is on par with the Xbox One X.”

The news comes as Microsoft Poland seemingly confirms plans to make mouse and keyboard support available for Xbox One consoles.

The leaked post has since been deleted, but the wording suggests mouse and keyboard support is imminent.

“Some players prefer to conquer the virtual world with a pad in hand,” the translated post reads (via Windows Latest).

“Others, above all, value the precision of the mouse movements. Others, however, can not imagine playing on anything other than a keyboard.

“Now, owners of Xbox One consoles (including Xbox One S models and the latest Xbox One X) can choose these accessories and decide for themselves what they will use.”

Microsoft recently announced the next batch of free Xbox One and Xbox 360 games on Games with Gold.
