Star Wars SHOCK: ‘Disney bracing for Han Solo movie to BOMB, it’s going to CAR CRASH’

The Last Jedi may have been released in cinemas two weeks ago, but now Lucasfilm are focusing on their next Star Wars entry.

Solo: A Star Wars Story, which focuses on a young Han Solo before the events of A New Hope, is set for release in late May.

However, with just five months to go, there hasn’t been a single poster, picture, let alone trailer, for the new movie.

Now an alleged source has claimed that Disney is preparing for the Han Solo movie to be their first Star Wars flop.

Speaking with Screen Geek, the insider said: “Disney is bracing themselves for the Han Solo movie to bomb.

“They were worried about it before all The Last Jedi controversy, but now they’re essentially writing Solo off.

“The lead actor, Alden Ehrenreich, can’t act, and they had a dialogue coach on hand for all of his scenes.

“On top of that, the script is unworkable. It’s going to be a car crash.”

The film has been surrounded with problems since directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller were fired and replaced by Ron Howard.

It’s reported that Howard had to reshoot 80 per cent of the movie, which has caused concern among Star Wars fans.

Solo: A Story will be released in UK cinemas on May 25, 2018.
