Kate and William have announced they will take a solo trip to Norway in January or February 2018.
William and Kate will travel to the Nordic countries at the request of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Kensington Palace has said.
It has not yet been revealed whether they will take their two children with them.

The Queen, Prince Philip and other members of the Royal Family were out at church in Sandringham today – but Kate and her family were nowhere to be seen.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who will also be spending Christmas Day with the royals, were also not seen at church today.

Will Kate pick her baby name from a new list released by posh society bible Tatler? The magazine has created a ticklist of the “most aristocratic baby names of all time”.
Royal names to appear include Beatrice, Catherine, Margaret, and Zara. Victoria also made the list – and is one strong possibility as the baby name Kate and William will choose if they have a girl.
Royal names for boys on the list include Albert, Charles, Edward, Henry, and William. George is notably absent.

Tradition dictates that they will be in Norfolk for Christmas Eve too. The royal spend the evening having a formal dinner and exchanging gifts.

As well as the error, Twitter users have noted how much Princess Charlotte looks like the Queen, her great-grand-mother, in the Christmas card.
Both share the same cheeky grin and chubby cheeks, with a similar eye shape too.
After Kensington Palace tweeted the photo, user MissyLarue replied: “Princess Charlotte looks SO much like Queen Elizabeth.”

Eagle-eyed twitter users have spotted an error with the Christmas card. In the adorable picture, William is dressed in a dark navy suit with a blue tie and has his hands resting on George’s shoulders.
Kate is dressed in a pale blue suit with a wide fit belt around the waist, peplum detailing and a peter pan collar, and can be seen smiling lovingly into the camera. And George and Charlotte appear in the foreground by one another’s side.
All four members of the royal family look immaculate, with not a hair out of place. But Twitter users have noticed something not quite right about the image.
