Leicester vs Manchester United LIVE: Express Sport brings you the latest goals, updates and highlights from the King Power Stadium

38: Jose Mourinho doesn’t look impressed. He’s strolling up and down the sidelines like he’s gearing up for an angry rant during the break. I only know that look because my GF does the same thing when I’m rude to her friends…

35: Victor Lindelof is booked for a late challenge on Iborra, who is a complete tank by the way. The Swede has to be careful now.

33: 21 of Jamie Vardy’s 50 Premier League goals (42%) have come against ‘big six’ opposition. He’s a big-match player! The Red Devils are trying to regain their composure but everything’s rushed and a few passes are going astray.

30: Big questions need to be asked of Phil Jones and Chris Smalling, who didn’t sense the danger and started sprinting far too late to mark Jamie Vardy.

Jose Mourinho’s side now have to be more expansive, which should play into Leicester’s hands nicely.

LEICESTER 1-0 MANCHESTER UNITED – VARDY

27: There’s the breakthrough! It’s completely against the run of play but Jamie Vardy won’t mind a jot as he scores his 50th goal in the Premier League for Leicester.

Riyad Mahrez holds the ball up nicely after Ndidi’s speculative punt forward and plays in Vardy, who tucks the it under David de Gea.

25: This is the first of four games in nine days for Manchester United. I think Jose Mourinho’s grumblings are fully justified this time. Martial drives into the area but his effort is blocked.

24: Romelu Lukaku goes for the spectacular… but it’s far from spectacular as he shins an overhead kick. Jamie Vardy then concedes a free-kick for running directly into Nemanja Matic like a complete maniac.

21: Jose Mourinho said that many of his players weren’t up for it against Bristol City on Wednesday – they certainly are tonight. It might have something to do with the fact that a defeat would eave them 14 points behind Manchester City.

18: Leicester are having to work really hard to keep Jose Mourinho’s side quiet. The Red Devils win another but Morgan and Maguire combine to clear.

15: You have to say that Manchester United are in the ascendancy. The passing and movement is crisp with Mata, Lingard and Martial all looking dangerous. Wes Morgan makes a crucial interception to deny Romelu Lukaku, who has just onside.

12: Paul Pogba unleashes a fierce left-footed drive from range which Kasper Schmeichel does well to gather. Great tempo to this match.

9: Thoughts on Riyad Mahrez’s new hairstyle? Reminds me of Preston from the Ordinary Boys for some reason. Just me? Thought so.

6: I always feel like Demarai Gray is on the verge of greatness but sabotages it with bad decisions and poor execution. He’s got tons of options ahead of him as he approaches the Manchester United box but dithers and loses the ball.

A nice one-two between Jesse Lingard and Romelu Lukaku sets up the former for a good effort, but his deflected shot is tipped over by Schmeichel.

3: Lively start! Jamie Vardy looks to wiggle his way through a crowd of players but loses possession.

At the other end, Anthony Martial and Juan Mata both see their efforts blocked, and Chris Smalling nods a corner over the bar.

LEICESTER 0-0 MANCHESTER UNITED

1: We’re underway folks. I don’t want to sound too cliched but the stadium really does have that Christmas miracle type of atmosphere. I’ll stick my neck on the line and predict a 3-2 win for the Foxes.

Guess like that are why I haven’t won a bet since 1968…

19:35: Hello everyone, welcome to our LIVE coverage of Leicester vs Manchester United.

Sorry I’m late to the party. I’ve been covering Tottenham’s emphatic victory over Burnley at Turf Moor and I stopped off for the last remaining £3 meal deal in Tesco.

It’s a prawn and mayo sandwich if you were wondering…

Anyway, we’ve got a belter coming up at the King Power with Leicester and Manchester United eager to bounce back from midweek defeats.
