The UK’s favourite breast size and shape revealed by region

The best breast shape according to Britons has been revealed.

A survey asked 1100 UK men and women what their ideal mammary measurements were across all six regions of the UK, with some surprising results.

So what is the nation’s favourite breast size?

A C cup is considered the ideal cup size across most nations of the UK – however, there are some outliers.

In Scotland and Northern Ireland a smaller breast is preferred, with a B cup coming in as the favourite.

In the South East of England, however, a D cup resigns supreme as the best of breasts.

While natural breasts comes in all shapes and sizes, breast augmentation is the most popular plastic surgery in the UK.

Most recent figures show that numbers of breast augmentation procedures went up by 12.6 per cent from 2014 to 2015.

This survey, from Camille, might help those considering going under knife when it comes to their surgery options. 

Tt is not just size that comes into considerate when it comes to the preferred breast size. Shape is also a consideration. 

Round breasts are the preferred shape generally across the UK, with those exceptions to this being born in the Midlands, South West & Wales.

Bell shape breasts, fuller at the bottom with less volume on top, are most popular in these three regions. 

However, age is also a factor in the sort of breasts Britons prefer. 

Sixteen to 20 year-olds have an ideal of an athletic-shaped chest whereas those who are over 60 like their bosoms ‘relaxed’.

New data released by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) shows there were 17.1million surgical and minimally-invasive cosmetic procedures in the US last year. 

Of the 1.8million cosmetic surgeries topping the list was the boob job with 290,467 procedures, up four per cent from 2015.
