Mamma Mia 2: Here We Go Again – FIRST LOOK at Lily James, Amanda Seyfried, more in action

Lily James introduces the wrap reel, which shows the action from production on the musical sequel.

The former Downton Abbey star plays Young Donna in the movie; the character originally played by Meryl Streep.

Returning to the cast alongside Streep are Julie Walters as Rosie and Christine Baranski as Tanya; both of whom are seen in the new footage.

Also back are Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper, reuniting as Sophie and Sky, as well as Pierce Brosnan, Stellan Skarsgård and Colin Firth.

A teaser trailer is confirmed for release tomorrow (December 21) ahead of the movie’s arrival in July next year.

Earlier this year, ABBA hero Benny Andersson revealed the first few songs to be included.

It seems that ‘Angel Eyes’, ‘I Wonder’ and ‘When I Kissed The Teacher’ are all lined-up to appear.

“It’s more of a prequel really, because it’s about everything that happened before they ended up on Kalokairi island,” the singer-songwriter told The One Show.

“It’s Donna when she was young, Meryl Streep when she was young, and what happened when she met the three dads.

“As well as what happened after the previous film finishes. So it’s a prequel and a sequel.”

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again is out on July 20, 2018.
