Arsenal rebel Alexis Sanchez causes dressing room row amid Man City and PSG links

Sanchez nearly left Arsenal in the summer with the wing wizard desperate to secure a reunion with Pep Guardiola over at Manchester City.

However, that deal fell through with the Gunners’ failure to sign a replacement – such as Thomas Lemar – costing the player dear.

Sanchez’s Arsenal career is winding down with his contract expiring at the end of the season. The Gunners may even cut him loose next month.

But members of the Gunners squad are supposedly unhappy with the 28-year-old and his abject displays this season.

Sanchez has been a far cry from the player he was last season.

The former Barcelona and Udinese star hit 30 goals from 51 games last term but has just five from 13 for the current campaign.

And the Sun say players at Arsenal are tiring of the contract rebel.

Senior members of the squad have reportedly been involved in heated rows with the player over his future.

An Emirates source is quoted as saying: “There has been a growing tension between some of the players and Sanchez.

“They are upset over his attitude around the club. It’s happened at the training ground and in the dressing room.

“It’s been brewing a while now. He clearly wants out of the club and the others feel he is doing more bad than good.”

Sanchez has been at Arsenal since signing from Barcelona in 2014.

But, with the Chile star burning his bridges at the Emirates, a move to City in January looks likely.
