Man Utd news: Jose Mourinho to use part of £80m transfer kitty on Brazilian sensation

Mourinho is expected to be busy in the January transfer window bolstering his squad.

With Manchester City seemingly running away with the Premier League, the United boss is desperate to build a squad capable of challenging.

Romelu Lukaku, Nemanja Matic and Victor Lindelof were drafted in during the summer transfer window.

But with injuries to his squad and a busy fixture schedule both in domestic and European competitions to contend with, Mourinho is desperate to bring in more bodies.

And the Sunday Times claim Bordeaux winger Malcom heads Mourinho’s wishlist for the January transfer window.

The Red Devils boss wanted to sign a wide man in the summer, with Inter Milan star Ivan Perisic heavily linked with a move.

But it is reported that Mourinho has been hugely impressed by Malcom’s performances in Ligue 1 this season.

The 20-year-old has already notched up seven goals and four assists in 16 league matches this season.

It is also said that Mourinho will have £80m available for him to spend on new recruits, with Malcom touted to fetch as much as £30m.

Mourinho has interchanged between Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial on the wing this season with Juan Mata also sometimes utilised there.
