PS4 games you MUST buy: Bloodborne, Horizon Zero Dawn, The Witcher 3

has dominated this hardware generation, as Sony shifts more than 70 million units.

The PlayStation 4 is estimated to have sold more than double that of the Xbox One, with Sony expecting to make 18 million sales in the current financial year.

And it’s no surprise when you look at some of the games that are available for the PS4.

Just this year we’ve been treated to excellent PlayStation console exclusives like Nioh and Horizon Zero Dawn, not to mention the excellent Persona 5.

That’s on top of multi-platform must-haves like GTA 5 and Overwatch, plus indie sensations like Spelunky.

The news comes as GAME reveals new PS4 game deals as part of its .

2 is at its lowest price ever, as GAME reduces the price to just £19.99 on PS4.

Elsewhere, Star Wars Battlefront 2 has been cut to £34.99 on PS4, which is the same price as Assassin’s Creed Origins.

WWE 2K18 and South Park: The Fractured But Whole are both £29.99, while Overwatch Game of the Year Edition is £24.99.

There’s also a small reduction on Call of Duty WW2, which is down to £44.99.

Elsewhere, Sony has released a brand new system update for the PlayStation 4.

PS4 system update 5.03 is available as a mandatory update for PlayStation 4 owners.

Unfortunately, however, unlike the last major update, version 5.03 doesn’t appear to do an awful lot.

According to the anemic patch notes, update 5.03 “improves system performance”.

It’s bad news for fans hoping that the new system update would let users change their PSN names.

This particular feature should be available within the next year.
