The Unseen review: A sincere effort but predictable and underwhelming

In response to the loss of her son, Gemma (Jasmine Hyde) suffers from panic attacks that affect her eyesight.

Husband Will (Richard Flood) is convinced that he can hear the boy’s voice calling out to him.

They accept an offer to stay at the quiet Lake District home of the kindly Paul (Simon Cotton) and discover that their worries have only just begun.

A sincere effort but it all feels entirely predictable and underwhelming.
