Star Wars 8 The Last Jedi actors give VERDICT on Carrie Fisher’s final performance as Leia

The actress sadly passed away last Christmas, but had completed filming on The Last Jedi.

Now as the film is released, her co-stars have spoken out on her last performance as Leia.

At the UK press conference, Luke star Hamill said: “She’s absolutely wonderful in the movie.

“She’s not sort of the wise-cracking, adorable, pint-size princess that she was. She’s been through such heartache.”

According ABC7, director Rian Johnson said: “She gives a really beautiful performance in this movie, and we finished shooting when she passed.

“So we have a really beautiful, complete performance from her. It’s very emotional watching it.”

Meanwhile Rey actress Daisy Ridley said: “It’s really moving. It will for sure be a series of moments.”

Finn star John Boyega added: “Those moments have heart. And for me to articulate it a bit further, I think it’s best for you to experience. But there’s heart in all of it.”

While Poe actor Oscar Isaac said: “It’s a performance that’s filled with such grace and beauty and depth.

“So beautiful and compassionate and I think it’ll be a really wonderful experience for people to see that.”
