Star Wars 8: Huge YODA news – Did Frank Oz just reveal THIS?

legend Yoda may have passed away in a dank swamp but his memory lives on.

Not only that, he’s a Jedi master, so he may be dead but he is certainly not gone.

Yoda already made a blazing return to the screen in the not so blazing prequel trilogy.

There have been rumours all year that he might actually be popping up in The Last Jedi as a Force Ghost.

WARNING: MAJOR POTENTIAL SPOILERS

Fans were furious earlier this week when Holly Willoughby appeared to reveal an enormous spoiler on This Morning.

Episode 8 star John Boyega was being interviewed over a live link from his hotel when Holly excitedly said: “Fans will be happy Yoda is back!”

There was a shocked silence as the gobsmacked actor clearly tried to figure out what to do or say.

The Brit, who plays renegade First Order deserter Finn, looked stunned and said: “Oh, Holly. Holly. Holly. You can’t tell the fans exactly what happens!”

After a very uncomfortable attempt to laugh off the whole catastrophe, John and Holly moved the chat along.

It’s not the first clue that Yoda could be back, however. Various reports had placed Frank Oz, who voices the puppet, at UK Star Wars sets at Pinewood Studios.

The Muppets master had also fuelled speculation by the way he avoided any questions on the subject, but now he has finally spoken up about the future of Yoda.

In a chat with Yahoo! Movies, he was asked about Yoda getting his own standalone movie.

Oz said: “Yeah, he is going to. He is going to. He’s going to be a chorus girl. He’s changing sex. He will become — he won’t kick that high, I think he’s a little too old for the extensions, but he’s going to do his best…

“The whole show is going to be about him struggling to learn dance and the different forms of dance. That’s what the show is about. Already I’ve given you way too much information.”

Sadly, joking he is, think we do.
