Monster Hunter World beta end time: Here’s when PS4 trial ends for PS Plus subscribers

Monster Hunter World’s  beta is about to come to an end on .

Capcom’s has a 5pm GMT end time on December 12.

And it doesn’t look like the Monster Hunter World beta will be extended, because Capcom has warned players that there are only a few hours left.

“Less than 12 hours left on the #MHWorld Beta! Have you hunted all the monsters yet?” Capcom tweeted.

The Capcom trial features three different quests, which can be played in single and multiplayer.

Quests include ‘Great Devourer, Great Jagras’ in the Ancient Forest, ‘Wildspire Rampage’ in the Wildspire Waste and ‘The Ancient Forest Menace’, which also takes place in the Ancient Forest.

Players can choose from six different presets for male and female hunters, as well as six presets for Palico helpers.

It also supports voice and text chat, plus there’s a Training Area to test out the 14 different weapon types.

“A new world awaits you, where a living, breathing ecosystem of flora and fauna is the setting for pulse-pounding battles against fearsome creatures using an arsenal of powerful weapons,” reads a Sony blog post.

“The beta features three quests set across two different maps: the dense, verdant foliage of the Ancient Forest and the arid sands of the Wildspire Waste.

“Track your prey across each of these unique landscapes, using the very environment itself to your advantage. Each quest features a different monster for you to try your hand at hunting, but you don’t have to go it alone: up to four players can team up online in co-operative multiplayer.”

The three quests are separated into Beginner, Intermediate and Expert.

Capcom has also given fans some hints and tips to help them survive the hunt.

Players are encouraged to communicate using voice chat and text chat, but also by using set phrases, stickers and gestures.

Capcom also encourages players to take advantage of their surroundings by hiding in foliage, using Vitalities to replenish health and Flashflies to blind monsters.

Specialised tools will grant players temporary abilities, including a Ghillie Mantle that will camouflage you from monsters.
