Conor McGregor super-fight ‘talks’ KO’d, T. Ferguson’s message to Mac

UFC president Dana White has dismissed Manny Pacquaio’s claim that he’s in negotiations to box Conor McGregor and has threatened to sue the Filipino and his representatives if they have approached ‘The Notorious’.

“That would be weird, because (McGregor’s) under contract with us,” .

“If that’s true, I will be suing Manny Pacquiao and whoever is representing him.”

Meanwhile, interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson has revealed he’s aiming to have his 155lbs title unification fight with McGregor in March or April.

“I asked Doc if he could make my elbows any more sharper,” Ferguson said in an Instagram post.

“Well … [with] a wink and a nod it was done!!! T’was a very minor surgery and now getting ready to unify my belt with McNuggets in the first [quarter] of the year (March – April), as recovery is going great!!! #DefendorVacate

And finally, McGregor’s head coach John Kavanagh doesn’t foresee his most famous student returning to the featherweight division to have a rematch with Max Holloway.

“I don’t (see him returning to the featherweight division),” the SBG Ireland head coach told . “That would be my honest answer on that.

“But, I also would say if you asked me six months before the (Floyd) Mayweather fight if that’s going to happen I would’ve said no.

“So I’m not the one to ask or make decisions about that. That will be Conor’s choice. I find it hard to see that (happening). That’s my opinion.”
